INGLIS EQUINE ART PRIZE
Entry closes 4th July.
Theme for 2011 is 'Life at the Stud'. Entrants are required to
depict a thoroughbred horse or horses eligible to race in any
country, at a stud in any country where breeding takes place.
Judging at the Inglis Newmarket Complex at Randwick
in Sydney, Australia on 11th August and opens
to the public 12th to 14th August.
Further exhibitions at the Inglis Oaklands Complex outside
Melbourne 18th to 21st August and then the
Scone Arts Society 25th to 28th August.

THE MORTIMORE PRIZE
Australia's leading Realism art prize closes for entry
on the 1st September.
Entry is being accepted from New Zealand for the first time.

THE 30 REALISTS
The Mary Place Gallery in Paddington, Sydney will be the next
venue for this group of award winning painters and illustrators.
Exhibition from 30th August to 4th September daily 10am to 5pm.
Congratulations are in order.
Peter Smeeth recently won the Sulman Prize conducted by the
NSW Gallery.
Evert Ploeg has won 'Best of Show' at the prestigious Portrait
Society of America's International 2011.
Well done to them both.
