2010 MORTIMORE PRIZE PEOPLE'S CHOICE
WINNER - ROSS HARVEY - 'CORREGGIO'
Ross Harvey's superb classical Still Life titled 'Correggio' has won the 2010 Mortimore Prize People's Choice. In capturing the admiration and hearts of the public, this is the second time Ross has won the Mortimore Prize People's Choice in 3 years.
His previous win was in 2007 with 'Zurburan', which also won the judging panel's Best In Show.  Ross will receive $12,000 worth of Australian made furniture from Harvey Norman.
Winning by a very clear margin, this win further enhances the reputation of this painter who is without peer in this genre in Australia.
Ross employs a level of skill and discipline rarely seen in any field of endeavour. By combining master craftsmanship with a complete understanding of composition enables Ross to produce pictures that the public simply adore.

Oh.....and to the art mafia......please take note of the above.
